GTK’s members won the 4th Financial Accounting Case Study Competition
The 4th Financial Accounting Case Study Competition was organized by the Budapest Business School between 28-30th November 2015 in Budapest.Among the seven participating teams “Babeș-Bolyai” University’s team was also present. The university from Cluj-Napoca was represented by the “QualiTeam” team made up of GTK members Rita Székely, Alpár Kiss, Zsolt Szabó and Bálint Kovács-Pusztai.
Saturday evening, after the official opening, the teams received the case studies, after which they had 22 hours to submit their proposals. The case study was from UCMS Hungary Group, the task being the development of an implementation strategy of an online platform for financial accounting and taxation advices. At the socialization night students had the opportunity to get to know each other better. The presentations were held on Monday morning, the last day of the contest. The participating teams were distributed into three sections and from each section the best presentation went to the final round, where their proposals were evaluated by a jury,composed of 15 members.
“Pannon”University’s (Veszprém) team reached third place whilethe team representing Budapest Business School came out as second. We are proud to announce that the winner of the contest was Babes-Bolyai University’s team, QualiTeam.
