GTK students at the Brussels Solvay Business Games competition

The Solvay Business Competition is being held for the 9th time in the city of Brussels. From among 1200 candidates 400 students, from various universities of the world, were chosen to measure their skills against each other. 5 of our members, namely Attila Dibernardo, Réka Fekete, Bálint Kovács-Pusztai, Gábor Kerekes and László Szabó, participated in the preliminary selection. Finally, two of them, Réka Fekete and Gábor Kerekes, successfully advanced to the next phase of the contest and will continue the fight on 4th and 5th of March  2016 in Brussels.

The competition is carried out in English and consists of 6 rounds. During the first stage participants must solve a strategic issue online while in the next round the will have 10 minutes to showcase the marketing strategy of their product.In the following sequence, using real data, opponents will be asked to develop a strategy and subsequently discuss and present their proposals.
