Victory at the Eset’17 PRO case study competition in Budapest

On the 19th of November, 2017, the Budapest University of Technology and Economics organized the 6th edition of the ESET  PRO case solving competition. The event was dedicated to students with considerable experience in business case solving.

After the pre-selection phase, team „Enigma”representing the Babeș-Bolyai University  and the GTK – Business Consulting Club, qualified to the final round of competition which hosted 8 competing teams from different universities. The members of the team from Cluj-Napoca were: Horváth Adrienn-Adél (BSc, III. year), Pádár Zsuzsánna (BSc, II. year), Szász Karina (BSc, II. year) and Vizeli Ibolya (BSc, II. year). Competing teams had to develop a strategy for Vodafone Hungary, having 72 hours at their disposal to create a detailed strategic plan.

The jury decided that team Enigma from Cluj-Napoca delivered the best solution, winning thereby the first place of the competition in 2017.

The last program of the weekend was a networking event, where the competitors had the possibility to meet and discuss the results with the members of the jury and other teams.
