Argumentation workshop at GTK Business Consulting Club

On April 30, 2015 the GTK Business Consulting Club members attended an argumentation workshop held by dr. Hanna Orsolya Vincze. At the beginning of the workshop, the members were challenged to identify the importance and proper use of arguments. Later on, they discussed the characteristics and purpose of different types of argumentation, such as quarrel, negotiation, debate and public debate. Learning to use the different types of arguments in the right situation leads to more effective communication. The session was wrapped up with the analysis of some cases of erroneous argumentation which ought to be avoided.
