Bonafarm Group’s workshop at the GTK

On the 27th of March, 2017, representatives of the Bonafarm Group held a course for the members of the GTK Business Consulting Club.

The main presentation was held by Gergely Pókos (business development manager) and Péter Ábrahám (IT and procurement director). Alumni GTK members István Barok, Kinga Beáta Szőcs and Zselyke Demeter were also present as members of the Bonafarm team.
First, Gergely Pókos and Péter Ábrahám delivered a short presentation on the history and main activitiesof the group, also speaking about the future plans and projects of the company. The rest of the first part of the training was about irrational business decisions, about how managers make decisions when they lack information and about the ten mistakes should be avoided in corporate decision-making.
During the second part of the training, with the help of a simulation game, GTK members experienced the difficulties of making decisions at companies, where the managers usually have limited information at their disposal. During the game, the participants were divided into three teams and all three teams had to evaluate the costs of organizing a fictional edition of the Olympic Games, having different information, and getting additional information during the work that frequently overwrote the previous plan.
