On the podium of the 2017 case study competition organized at the University of Pécs

Between the 4th and 6th of November, 2017 the Faculty of Economics of the University of Pécs (Hungary), in cooperation with the Janus Pannonius professional student college, organized the 10th edition of the “dr. Papp László” Accounting Case Study Competition. Among the 15 competing teams from different universities, four teams represented the GTK – Business Consulting Club with remarkable results.

Competing teams had the task to develop a complex strategy for a start-up company called Vimage. After the preliminary round, two GTK teams have been selected to participate in the final round. Team „Garádics” (Éltes Rita, Géger Gyopár, Kelemen Kincső, Bálint Alexandra Teodóra) achieved the most outstanding result, achieving the 2nd prize of the competition. The list of significant results continues with team „Enigma”(Szász Karina, Pádàr Zsuzsa, Vizei Ibolya, Horvàth Adrienn), who have reached the 4th place in the final. Teams “TGIF” (Győri Hunor, Jeszenszky Attila, Kiss Norbert and Tankó Attila), and „Caseylvania” (Balla Zsófia, Costiniuc Norbert, Griz Gerda Zsuzsánna and Vojkuj Csongor) have not managed to qualify to the final, but have also delivered good solutions to the case. The winner of the competition came from the Faculty of Economics of the University of Pécs.
