Operations strategy course with professor Harry Boer

On the 21st of November, 2015, Harry Boer, professor at Aalborg University, Denmark, has visited the GTK Business Consulting Club to hold a workshop on operations strategy, presenting both its theoretical aspects and practical relevance for today’s businesses. After a brief theoretical introduction in the field, participants had the opportunity to work in groups on two specific case studies, concerning the strategies of Ryanair and Flextronix, which was followed by an open discussion based on the responses of the students.

During the two-hour long workshop, students had the opportunity to look at strategic decision making from a new and innovative perspective, presented by an internationally renowned professor in the field of operations management.
