Professional and team building weekend with the new members

During the weekend of 23-25 October, 2015 the new and old members of the GTK Business Consulting Club participated on the first professional and team building event of the semester, which took place in the Teleki Educational Center in Sovata.

The first day was dedicated to the arrival of the members and team building activities. The professional program started the next morning at 10:00 AM. Coordinators Szász Levente and Rácz Béla-Gergely, Fugel Edina managing director and the senior members of the club presented the semester program of the organization, including the tasks that need to be fulfilled by the members of the club. In the following a presentation was held by Rácz Béla-Gergely about how to solve a case study efficiently, what steps need to be followed to make a convincing presentation and what are the frequent mistakes that need to be avoided. In the afternoon the program continued with an Excel training, held by alumni member Kristály Csaba, that lasted four hours and included valuable practices regarding the efficient use of the program.

The last day of the weekend started with a discussion session on current real estate articles, which provided an interactive experience for the participants, enabling them to share their thoughts and opinions about the current issues in the field. The last project of the weekend consisted of a group assignment for solving a business case study. Participants were divided into groups of four and five, having four hours to prepare a solution and present it in the front of a jury.

In conclusion, the first professional and team building weekend provided motivation and a foundation for the projects that are going to be carried out during this semester by the members of the GTK – Business Consulting Club.
