Second place at the National Controlling Case Study Competition in Budapest
Between the 25th and 27th of November, 2017 was organized the 6th National Controlling Case Study Competition by the Budapest Business School.
At the competition, the GTK Business Consulting Club was represented by team Synergy composed by the members Alexandra Teodóra Bálint, Éva Boros, Levente Deák and Péter Deák.
The case study was offered by the company Elmű-Émász. The students had to decide which is the most optimal way to finance and to exchange the company’s whole car fleet (composed of diesel cars) with new electric cars. Team Synergy finished on the second place and they also won a Special Prize offered by PwC company; besides this Levente Deák was selected as the best speaker of the competition.
The Final had place at the OTP – Fáy András Foundation’s headquarter. After the competition, the participants had the opportunity to ask for feedback from the jury and from the manager of the company.
