Special prize at the case solving competition in Miskolc, 2015

The Faculty of Economics of the University of Miskolc organized between the September 17-18, 2015 the “Susánszky János” Case Study Solving Memorial Competition, with the participation of six teams, five of them representing Hungarian universities and one team representing the Babeş-Bolyai University from Cluj-Napoca. Team Argo from Cluj-Napoca was formed by Fekete Réka, Kovács-Pusztai Bálint, Nagy Loránd and Szabó S. Zsolt, all members of the GTK – Business Consulting Club. The team received the special prize of the competition.

During the competition, the teams had to develop a lean-oriented operational plan for a private health clinic. Each team had 10 hours to develop its strategy, which was followed, on the next day, by the presentation of the solutions in front of a jury. At the end of the competition the jury decided that the team from Corvinus University of Budapest will receive first place, followed by the home team from the University of Miskolc, and the team representing the University of Debrecen. After the ceremony all participants were invited to a closing reception where they had the opportunity to discuss and share their experiences with each other.
