StartUp presentation in the GTK

In the weekend of 7-8th of November 2015 Attila Németh held a presentation about Start Up management for GTK Business Consulting Club members. At the beginning of the presentation we cleared up some common misconceptions regarding the theme of the lecture. After correctly defining what a StartUp company is, participants had the opportunity to learn more about the foundation process of such corporations.

During the course we also discussed the cultural differences surrounding startups and some techniques that can help handle such discrepancies. Participants were able to take a closer look on what kind of background and trends this industry has in Romania, Hungary and in the USA.

The presentation raised lots of questions, which helped students to gain experience from AttilaNémeth’s personal stories. Participants also learned about lean management, the blue ocean and red ocean strategies, brand building, and last but not least, they were given advice about how to properly dress in business meetings and interviews.
