Strategic management training

On the 21st and 22nd of November a training was held by Farkas Csongor (alumni member) and Palotai Bálint (representant of IFUA Horváth & Partners Management Consultants), on the topic of strategic management. Thanks to the event, GTK members had the opportunity to take a peek in how life is as a business consultant.

The module started with the presentation of five steps, then went on with analyzing these stages. With every step being clarified, the participating members had to complete a task, working in groups. The task entailed the following: defining the vision of GTK, do a market analysis, define the strategy of the consulting group, then work out the strategy in details. Members had the chance to share their opinions and discuss with others what they think about the topics in question.

We can say that these two days were useful for everyone, sincestudents were able to practice the theoretical knowledge they acquired from the two presenters,while  also learning how to work in a group.
