The 2017 Student Case Study Competition of Cluj-Napoca has ended
The final round Student Case Study Competition of Cluj-Napoca was organized for the 22nd time on the 26th of March 2017 by the Hungarian Department of Economics and Business Administrationof the Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca. This year 11 teams of four students each have enrolled to the competition.Two of the GTK teams have succeeded to earn a place on the podium of the competition.
The subject of the case study was delivered by Salad Box, a Romanian salad bar chain. Students had one week at their disposal to develop a growth strategy for the company. Their solutions were presented on Sunday, in front of a jury composed of representatives of partner companies.
The prize-winning teams of the competition:

II. prize – 4in1 (GTK’s team) – Deák Péter (Economy informatics, 2nd year), Éltes Rita (Management, 2nd year), Géger Gyopár (Marketing, 2nd year), Szabó Norbert (Finance and banking, 2nd year)
III. prize – SPIN (GTK’s team) – Balla Zsófia (Economy informatics, 1st year), Bálint Alexandra Teodóra (Finance master, 1st year), Costiniuc Norbert (Finance and banking, 1st year), Horváth Adrienn (Management, 2nd year)
Special prize (finalists) – 4Tune (GTK’s team) – Deák Levente (Finance and banking, 3rd year), Nagy Lóránd (Finance master, 1st year), Szabó László (Management master, 1st year), Tankó Attila (Management, 2nd year)
