Team Europe Conference

The Team Europe Conference took place on the 9th of December 2010. The main subject was „Structural Funds and the Future of the Common Agricultural Policy in the European Union.” Thanks to Mária Vincze’s invitation, the BCC had the chance to attend the session.

The 4 hour conference was composed of debate-rounds. Presiding speakers were renowned experts such as Mihail Dumitru, former Minister of Agriculture, Daniela Giurca, Director of the Ministry of Agriculture and Regional Development, Mária Vincze, PhD, professor atBabeş-Bolyai University and Team Europe member, Claudiu N. Cosier, general director of the Bureau for North-Western Regional Development and Team Europe member.

Through the experts’ discourses we obtained new information which will be of help in creating a better overview regarding the agricultural situation in Romania and its regions, but also in reflecting upon the debates surrounding the future of the Common Agricultural Policy.
