3rd Business Consulting Competition, Cluj-Napoca
The final round of the 3rd annual Business Consulting Competition for High-School Students took place between the 25th and 27th of March 2011, organized by the Hungarian Department of the Babeş-Bolyai University’s Faculty of Economics and Business Administration together with the Pro Oeconomica Association. This event is part of the Case Study Days in Cluj-Napoca.The competition consisted of two rounds. In the second round the teams were given a case study based on Nokia, and were asked to argue whether or not an image-change would be favourable for the company; and in which direction would a possible change occur.
The solutions were presented on the 27th of March. The final ranking is as followed:
· I. Prize: Teszkó team – Ady Endre High School, Oradea
· II. Prize: ABA team – Orbán Balázs High School, Cristuru Secuiesc
· III Prize: Játék team – Székely Mikó High School, Sfântu Gheorghe
· Diplomas of mention: Megoldjuk – Joannes Kájoni Economic School Centre, Miercurea Ciuc
The authors of the case study were following BCC members: István Barok, Béla-Gergely Rácz and Levente Szász. István Barok, Boglárka-Tamara Dorner, Attila Erdély, Balázs Furdek and Béla-Gergely Rácz together with the BCC coordinators helped organize the event.
