Self-Branding unfolded
On March the 17th 2016 took place yet another, more in-depth, presentation by Dr. Magor Kádár, associate professorat Babeș–Bolyai University, this time focusing on the concept of self-branding. As always the course was highly educational, focusing on both theoretical and practical aspects of the subject.
The presentations started off with a theoretical part during which relations were established between theory and various tasks students had to complete. One such task was to describe the main features of each GTK member which could easily be considered his/her brand or trade mark.
In the final part of the presentation students were given the task to pick a partner and write a short story about them that would highlight their best traits and explain what kind of person they were. Since the members knew each other rather well and shared numerous experiences together, recollecting a short story that would describe the person accurately and also accentuate that person’s positive side was not a difficult assignment.
Besides beingimmensely informative, the course managed to bring together the club’s members,raisingtheir morale and the group’s cohesion to a new level. The experience was yet another success for the members enriching their professional skills and their personal relationships as well.
