Training in human resources management with Dr. Gyula Bakacsi

On June 3rd and 4th in 2016 Dr. Gyula Bakacsi gave a series of presentations for the GTK Business Consulting Club. Currently, he is the Healtcare Management program coordinator at Semmelweis University in Budapest.

The training’s main topic was human resources management. First we received a presentation about the subject’s general picture then, during the weekend, we were able to go into the details of human resources management. We talked about strategies, and the Rule of Three also got a new meaning.

Going deeper into the subject we examined two perspectives: the manager’s and employee’s point of view. While adopting the employer’s perspective we talked about how to motivate someone, based mainly on Maslow’s hierarchy.

Later we talked about the Human Resources Stream, which has several models that can be applied for different companies. The theoretical parts of the presentation were put into practice with ease. Utilizing the fresh knowledge acquired during the training, we discussed two case studies about companies that faced the problem of human resources stream.
