Closing event: Insight into the international and domestic viticulture and wine industry

The traditional GTK Business Consulting Club Closing Day took place on July 1, 2016. During the event junior members, coordinated by three senior members, presented their project on the international viticulture and wine industry analysis. Students analyzed trends on worldwide, European, and Romanian level, examining the business models of leading companies, and concluded by formulating an investment strategy for the Romanian market.

Péter Szappanos, general manager of the Grand Tokaj Ltd. and a true expert in the field, has also attended the industry presentation and gave professional feedback regarding the students’ work. Later, he gave a presentation on the Grand Tokaj company, recent changes, market research and corporate strategy.

The event was concluded by Mikos Kerezsi’s, president of the Zsolt Antal Foundation, assessment report, in which he underlined that although students had done an extensive amount of work this year, this is the only way for moving forward and evolvingprofessionally. Hereinafter, Mr. Kerezsi greeted the new senior members and said farewell to the new alumni members.

The event was hosted by Crush Wine Bar, to whom we thank for the opportunity.
