Participation on the XIX. Finance Summer Academy

Between the 4th and 16th of August, 2013 the Széchenyi István Special College organized the XIX. Finance Summer Academy at Keszthely, Hungary. This year 14 students from 3 different counties participated on the event. Two members of the Business Consulting Club, Dombi Tünde and Székely Rita, were also among the participants.

In the first week of the summer academy the participants have learnt about topics in corporate finance.In the second week, a bank simulation was organized where the participants had to work in groups. During the camp, many specialists made presentations on different subjects like game theory, monetary policy, bank run and data mining.Beside learning about finance and banking, participating students had the chance to travel and relax by visiting the Festetics palace, the aqua park at Zalakaros and the Szigliget castle.
