Basics of controlling with Huba Eörs and Farkas Csongor

On November 14-15, 2014 members of the GTK attended a basic controlling training under the guidance of Eörs Huba and Csongor Farkas. IFUA Horváth & Partners managing director, economist, as well as consultant and project manager, Eörs Huba taught the students about the basics of controlling. Csongor Farkas, consultant at IFUA Hováth & Partners, currently GTK alumni member, helped the learning process through practical examples and case studies.

At the session, participants gained knowledge about the function, task and field of activity of the controller. The process of controlling, the collaboration between the controller and the leader, and the controller’s report were the main subjects covered. Throughout the training, cost and profit calculation were the two focus elements. Plenty of practical examples, case studies and calculation tasks were provided to make the learning process most efficient.
