Outstanding results at the Case Study Competition
Between March 31 and April 6, 2014 the Department of Economics and Business Administration in hungarian Language of the Babeș-Bolyai University and the Pro Oeconomica Association organized for the 19th time the Cluj-Napoca Case Study Competition. The GTK – Business Consulting Club was represented by three teams on this competition. Two of them succeded to qualify in the final round, winning in the end the first and the second place of the competition.
The third GTK team (Fehér Attila, Fekete Réka, Guttmann Csongor, Kovács Anita) also delivered a good performance, being very close to the second place of the qualifying groups which would have granted the access to the final round of the competition.

The teams received the case studies on Monday, March 31, and they had to submit their solutions until Friday, April 4, in the form of a presentation and a managerial report. The task of the participating teams was to develop a 5-years strategy for OTP Bank Romania, taking into consideration the dynamic environment of the Romanian banking sector.
The jury of the competition was composed of recognized business practitioners: Csehi Árpád (Autonet Group, managing director), Cserháti Csaba (Tipodirect, financial director), Karádi Katalin (msg systems Romania, financial director), Kereszturi Zsolt (OTP Bank Romania, branch manager), Kun Márton (OTP Bank Romania, branch manager), Pál Annamária (Antares, financial director), Orbán Zsolt (ER&RE, owner – managing director), Varga Vasile (MOL Romania, logistics director).
