Start of the GTK High School Program

The GTK High School Program, organized by the GTK – Business Consulting Club, has been launched for the first time in 2014. The program this year is open for students of the Báthory István High School from Cluj-Napoca. The objective of the program is to facilitate the transfer of practical business knowledge through the interactive teaching of business planning, which is able to complete economics and entrepreneurship theories provided at high schools with a more practice-oriented business knowledge.

During this semester the students will participate at five courses, where they will develop their skills and capabilities to build a complete plan for their own business ideas. As a final momentum of the program, the teams get the chance to present their plans in front of a professional jury.

On 18 Jan 2014 the first course took place on entrepreneurial behavior, enterprises, business ideas and market analysis. These topics were presented by Tamás Vincze, alumni member of the GTK – Business Consulting Club and commercial director at East Grain Ltd.

At the end of the course the 30 participants formed 8 teams, in which they are going to work through the semester.

The next course will be organized on 15 Feb 2014.
