Data visualisation workshop with Dénes Csala from Lancaster University

During March 17-18, 2018 Dénes Csala, PhD, from Lancaster University, held a presentation followed by a workshop on data visualization for the members of GTK Business Consulting Group.

The first day started at 11:00 AM with a presentation entitled “Visualizing the Energy Transitions of Countries under Climate Climate Constraints”. The program was followed by a workshop on techniques and methods for data visualization which lasted one and a half day. During the workshop, GTK members had the possibility to learn about problem solving methods of processing and turning data into interactive visualizations. At the end of the two-day training session, the students were divided into teams and each team had the task to create its own interactive data visualization, allowing them to put all the theoretical knowledge gained before into practice. At the end of the day, each team had a final task to present their visualization in front of the others.
