Motion picture industry analysis at the Semester Closing Day

The traditional GTK Business Consulting Club – Semester Closing Day took place on the 8th of June, 2018. During the event the junior members, coordinated by four senior members, presented their analysis of the motion picture industry. The students analyzed the global, European and Romanian trends and, based on their analysis, made suggestions for improvements for the players of the industry.

Dr. Zachar Balázs, freelancer producer, previously head of legal and EU relations at the Hungarian National Film Fund, also attended the presentation and gave professional feedback regarding the students’ work. Afterwards, he delivered an insightful presentation about his experiences and also gave an insights about the process of film making and its influence on the economy.

The event was closed by the summary of the semester’s results and achievements, presented by Mikós Kerezsi, president of the Antal Zsolt Foundation. We also have to congratulate to our new alumni members, namely Bálint Alexandra Teodóra, Csíki Ottó, Deák Péter, Géger Gyopár, Éltes Rita, Balla Zsófia, Győri Hunor, Horváth Adrienn, Sándor Krisztián, Szász Karina and Vizeli Ibolya.

The event’s professional part was hosted by the Minerva Cultural Association, while the dinner by Crush Wine Bar, whom we thank for hosting our event!
