Two GTK students qualified to the final round of the UCL Business Game in London
Between the October 27-28, 2018 the 3rd edition of the UCL Business Game was organized by the University College London. Over 200 students have applied to the competition representing 51 different nationalities and 25 universities. Based on the preliminary round, 80 students have qualified to the final round of the competition in London. The final of the business game consisted of 4 challenges. During the financial challenge the students had to come up with an M&A strategy for Shoebox, a sports shoes manufacturer. The strategy challenge referred to the reduction of the product portfolio of Nutcracker. In the third round, the teams had to develop a marketing strategy for Digi-Telecommunications, while during the entrepreneurship challenge they had to create an elevator pitch for an existing start-up.
Two GTK alumni members, Kincső Kelemen and Norbert Szabó, succeeded to qualify to the final round of the competition and delivered an honorable performance during the challenges. Congratulations!
