First place at the EsetSTART management case solving competition in Budapest
Three teams of the GTK – Business Consulting Club have signed up for the online round of the EsetSTART case solving competition, just like last year. Out of the three, one team managed to win the event.
The competition was organized by the Management Club of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics between 16-17th of November, 2019. The three teams who have signed up for the online round were 8kéz1case (Hölgyes Orsolya, Fuccaro Kriszta, Martonos Magor Tamás and Szegedi Hunor), EsetLag (Apetroae Lucas, Csenteri András Gergely, Hollanda Tekla Andrea and Kovács Alpár Botond) and Caseriders (Ábrán Kinga Réka, Domokos Ferenc, György Ákos and Karda Sára) respectively. In this round the task was to analyse public transportation, based on its present effects and its future. The latter team qualified for the next round, which was held in Budapest, in the office building of Loxon Solutions. The task for the Caseriders was to create a brand campaign for GlamGlow. After the announcement of the results, the team qualified for the finals. This was held the following day in the magnificent office building of PwC Hungary. The task for the finals was to solve a case of an imaginary, household item producing company, which had a “difficult” and non-cooperative management team, who had to be convinced to implement a data-system in the company. The jury consisted of two Hiflylabs officials (the company which created the mentioned case), and a PwC employee. Out of a total of eight teams, they awarded the first place to the Caseriders.
Congratulations to all participating teams!
