Debate 2.

On 28th April, the second debate of the semester was organized with the following topic: “Europe should further expand the range of economic sanctions against Russia”. The students of the GTK Business Consulting Club were divided into pro and con teams and after a 15-minute preparation they had to conduct a debate in British Parliament style. In the beginning the pro team’s Prime Minister defined the topic sentence and briefly outlined their arguments and then the Contra team outlined their arguments as well, whichs was followed by the presentations of the arguments in detail. Both teams tried to approach the thesis from both an economic and a political point of view and were also allowed to ask each other questions.
