Zétény Szilágyi-Nagy participated in the Management Shadowing programme
On 11th May, Zétény Szilágy-Nagy, GTK member participated in the management shadowing program at Chimszed Invest, as the “shadow” of Krisztián Székely.
„On 11th May, I had the opportunity to participate in the Management Shadowing programme at Chimszed Invest. Krisztián Székely, the CEO of the company, presented in detail what they do and what they see as the future of the company. Chimszed Invest is a distributor of the full range of Rombat batteries and they provide service throughout the country. They mainly supply their customers with starter batteries for cars, vans, or trucks. With 24 years of experience, the company supplies traction, semi-traction, stationary or solar batteries on demand. I was driven around the store in the morning and got a detailed description of the products there. Then we spent most of our time in the office where it turned out that there were difficulties in the life of the company, including Covid-19. Then, Krisztián showed the companies they have partnership with. He told me, that in addition to batteries, there have been attempts to break into the world of sportswear, mostly in the field of motorcycle protective clothing, but they don’t want to make major changes in the long run. We then visited the warehouses and along the way, I also got answers to more personal questions on the topic of work-life balance. They have two large warehouses in which the products are ranked and arranged according to performance and quality.
