The multi-round competition consisted of a 4-hour case study and a 10-hour case study, with the 12 participating teams competing in three groups of 4 teams to get in the finals.
Our students finished in a split first place in the first round, where they solved the problem of the stock market start-up lemon.markets, and in third place in the second round, where they had to propose a sustainable solution to the city of Cologne. Taking these results altogether, the team from Cluj has earned the second place in their group, achieving higher grades than several teams from prestigious international universities. In addition to this excellent performance, they have also won the Social Award of the competition.
The team representing the Smith School of Business won the competition, followed on the podium by the John Molson School of Business and the American University of Beirut.
