GTK students participated on a controlling training

On 16-17 December, thanks to IFUA Horváth Partners, the Controlling training, which has become a tradition for several years, was organised for second year students of the GTK. The training was held by Eörs Huba.

The training was divided into two parts: on Friday a 6-hour module and on Saturday a 4-hour module was held. At the beginning of the training, the role of controlling, its place and function in the life of a company was introduced, and the students were given a new perspective on how a company is perceived by an employee working in the field of controlling. They then covered important and interesting topics, both theoretical and practical, such as the importance of allocating financial responsibility, planning and forecasting, types of costs and even the calculation of margins.

All in all, the training highlighted a lot of new things and provided them with useful knowledge that will be of use to them in the future.
