Second place and two special prizes at the XXII Tímár László Case Study Solving Competition!

The XXII Tímár László Case Study Competition was held in Veszprém, Hungary, between 25-27 February 2023, where our team won 2nd place in the guest team category, the best presentation and most innovative solution prizes.

The GTK was represented by 4 students under the team name Doge: Anna Bugár (Finance and Banking, 2nd year), Ábel Dimén-Varga (Business Information Systems, 1st year), Barbara Kürti (Business Information Systems, 2nd year) and Kata Szalontai (Business Information Systems, 1st year). The competition took place online between 25-27 February 2023, during which the GTK students competed with students from universities in Hungary.  The teams had 24 hours to develop their solution to the case, which was about the generational change and expansion problems of Rajos Szikvíz Kft. In addition to second place, the Doge team also received a special prize for the most innovative solution, while Kata Szalontai won the prize for best guest speaker. The team was coached by dr. Lehel-Zoltán Györfy, dr. Béla-Gergely Rácz and dr. Levente Szász.
