GTK camp 2023

This year, our professional camp took place between 20-23 October in Kalotaszentkirály. In this year’s camp, GTK students developed fundraising projects and strategic proposals for the Kozmutza Flóra Foundation from Cluj-Napoca, which is dedicated to the support, development and education of disadvantaged students at the Special School for the Deaf ”Kozmutza Flóra”. The GTK students’ solutions were presented on Sunday.

GTK members ended a weekend full of useful activities as on Friday evening we explained the aims and rules of our club, and after team-building activities the students got to know each other better and the new members of the team settled in. The next morning, the professional programme started, during which the students took part in a case study solving training and a PowerPoint training, which prepared them how to structure, design and deliver a good presentation. After lunch, the students were introduced to the Kozmutza Flóra Foundation, its activities, objectives and current difficulties, which helped them to get to know the foundation, as our charity projects for the next university year will be aimed at supporting the disadvantaged children and young people from there. In this way, students will be able to work effectively together towards a common goal.

On Sunday, the GTK students’ presentations took place, evaluated by a representative of the Kozmutza Flóra Foundation, GTK coordinators and alumni members.
