GTK student visited the Klausen Exim company

On the 7th of December, the students of GTK visited Klausen Exim. During the visit, they were able to visit the company’s offices, where the company’s leaders and managers Ilka Csöregi and Norbert Csöregi presented their activities and the students were able to see their products in their showroom.

During the presentation they could understand where the family business started from, which is now one of the TOP companies in the industry in Romania. The company distributes lighting products in Romania, it is present on the market with two product categories, the Klausen product group, which covers the simpler, mass-produced chandeliers, and the Unique product group, which covers the designer pieces. Their sales channel is aimed at wholesalers and retailers, with end-users having access to their products in their partners’ stores.

During the presentation, the students were able to understand the challenges in the sourcing process when importing finished or semi-finished products from Asia.

At the end of the visit, the students were able to visit the warehouse in Gyalu, where they saw in practice how the preparation of products is carried out from receipt to sale.
