The XXII National Finance Case Study Competition (OPEV) took place between 2-3 February 2024 at the Széchenyi István University of Győr, organised by the Kautz Gyula College for Advanced Studies. After the online round on 27 January, the BBU team came 5th in the second round, which was held in Győr with a face-to-face presence.

In the competition, the students had to develop a business plan and a financial controlling system for a company producing plastic raw materials. As part of the task, they had to build an in-depth financial analysis of the company’s current operations and then develop a start-up strategy with sustainability, innovation and the current complex economic environment in mind.

The team from Cluj-Napoca was coached by Dr. Botond Benedek, Dr. Lehel-Zoltán Györfy, Dr. Levente Szász and Dr. Béla-Gergely Rácz.

Congratulations!
