Third place at the IV. Ács Antal Case Competition in Debrecen!

The 4th Antal Ács Case Competition was organized by the Faculty of Economics of the University of Debrecen between 25-26 April 2024. This year, the Department of Economics and Business Administration in Hungarian Language of the Babeş-Bolyai University (BBU) and the GTK Business Consulting Club was represented by the four-member R-day team, which ended up ont he third place in the strong field. The members of the team were: Erőss Ákos (Management 3. year), Hajdó Boglárka (Business Informatics, 1. year), Kozma Krisztina (Management, 1. year) and Szalontai Kata (Business Informatics, 2. year).

The theme of the competition was HR problems, sustainability and within this the strategic development of Vitesco Technologies Hungary Kft., the students had to solve tasks such as reorganising the recruitment and onboarding processes of the company, encouraging employees to be sustainable and creating a budget plan.

The case solution took place on 25 April, on the scene, , and once the teams received the case, they had 10 hours to build the solutions for it. The next day, the presentations were held in front of a professional jury. A total of 8 teams participated in the competition.

The team from Cluj-Napoca was coached by dr. Györfy Lehel-Zoltán, Associate Professor, dr. Szász Levente, Full Professor and dr. Rácz Béla-Gergely, University Lecturer.
