Fazakas Boglárka and Hajdó Boglárka share their experiences on the Management Shadowing program

On 12 April, our active members Boglárka Fazakas and Boglárka Hajdó participated in the Management Shadowing program at East Grain in Cluj-Napoca, being the “shadows” of Tamás Vincze, the company’s CEO.

The girls’ experiences can be read below:

“On 12 April 2023, we had the opportunity to get a glimpse into a day in the life of Tamás Vincze, CEO. We started the day at 9:00 am at East Grain’s headquarters in Cluj-Napoca, where we mainly gained insight into the company’s finance, logistics and controlling sectors. Then Dóra Szőke introduced us to the process of trading and Áron Szilágyi introduced us to the world of the Grain Stock Market. Then, through the discussions with Tamás Vincze, we understood the importance of company politics, who answered all our questions and gave us a complete picture of the life of a business and its CEO. It was inspiring to see how, as a manager, you can balance your personal and professional life. We were given a realistic picture of what it takes to start a company, and were given insight into the opportunities that the Romanian job market offers, and why it is worthwhile to work or even start a business here at home.
