GTK members attended a time-management workshop
On November 1, first-year GTK students had the opportunity to attend a time management workshop led by Dr. Béla-Gergely Rácz, one of GTK’s coordinators. The aim of the session was not only to teach students effective time management techniques but also to help them define their long-term goals.
Participants first received practical advice on organizing their time more effectively, and then each student worked on a worksheet to outline their personal and professional, short- and long-term goals. Students were introduced to Stephen Covey’s famous prioritization matrix, widely used by many successful companies, which they used to rank their goals by importance.
Afterward, the junior members reflected on how much control they had over these goals and examined how short- and long-term goals influence each other. They also gained insights into activities that subtly consume valuable time. By the end of the workshop, participants had a clearer understanding of how to manage their time more effectively.
Many thanks to Dr. Béla-Gergely Rácz for this valuable and insightful session!
