GTK Professional Camp 2025
etween October 17-19, 2025, the GTK Professional Camp was held in Iod, where GTK students launched a special project in support of the Gondviselés organization.
The GTK team had a truly enriching weekend. On Friday evening, after arrival, the program began with an introduction to GTK and its goals. Afterwards, students worked in teams to formulate their expectations regarding their GTK journey. The evening continued with an ice-breaking event designed to help new members integrate more easily.
Saturday marked the beginning of the professional program, during which participants took part in a case study solving workshop as well as a presentation and PowerPoint training. These sessions helped the members learn how to structure, plan, and effectively deliver a well-built presentation.
After lunch, the Gondviselés organization was introduced by the charity program coordinators, who presented its activities, objectives, and current challenges. This allowed participants to better understand the association and its core mission: supporting and caring for adults with disabilities.
From Saturday afternoon until Sunday morning, camp participants worked on developing a fundraising campaign plan and strategic recommendations for the organization. Their comprehensive solutions and proposals were presented on Sunday, the closing day of the camp, where representatives of the charity program, GTK coordinators, and alumni members evaluated their work. The camp concluded with an industry analysis briefing held by the senior members for the junior members, introducing them to the process, techniques, and other key aspects of preparing an industry analysis.
Over the past weekend, GTK students not only gained valuable professional experience but also actively engaged in social responsibility by supporting the organization’s mission to help those in need – each team will implement a charity event during the year based on their proposed campaign plan.
We extend our gratitude to Borsos András and Székely Evelin for their insightful training sessions and presentations, as well as to GTK coordinators Dr. Rácz Béla-Gergely and Dr. Szász Levente, and to charity program leaders Forró Gellért and Zoványi Tamás for their professional contribution.
