Management shadowing report

One of the BCC’s foremost important projects is the management shadowing program, which offers the members the possibility of meeting successful businessmen and renowned experts, enabling personal and closed-circle discussions. During this activity the members are able to spend an entire day with a manager at work. Hereunder is the report of a member on the day she spent within the program coordinated by  Miklós Kerezsi.

„Within the management shadowing program we are given the opportunity to spend a day accompanying a manager, observing his methods, how he represents his enterprise, how he approaches everyday issues, and we may also ask him/her questions and even ask for advice.(…)After last year’s chance of participating in the program atEast Consulting, East Grain and Romespa, in the spring of 2010 several BCC members could take a glimpse at the everyday functioning of Tipoholding Rt. During the time spent here we could observe applied business techniques, inquire about the basis for certain decisions, and witness how to put knowledge into practice as efficiently as possible. Seeing the employees at work can have nothing but a motivating effect. During the management shadowing we also had the chance to attend an employee-meeting, and thus see not only how a manager is supposed to act in certain situations, but also what is expected of other workers.
