Participation at the 23th Finance Summer Academy

Between the 11th and 20th of August, 2017 the “Széchenyi István” College organized the 23th Finance Summer Academy at Keszthely, Hungary. This year 10 students from 3 different counties participated on the event. Two members of the Business Consulting Club, Csíki Ottó and Kiss Norbert, were also among the participants.

In the first day of the summer academy the participants have learnt about the basics of the banking system. This knowledge was useful in the bank simulation game, where the participants had to work in groups. During the camp four major topic was in the focus: Big data, FinTech businesses (Loxon Solutions), the role of these FinTech businesses (OTP eBiz) and the basics of Visual Basic programing. Participating students had the chance to travel and relax by visiting the “Festetics” palace and the Tapolca Lake Cave.

The Finance Summer Academy was a great occasion for learning about finance with new friends.
