The High School Program has finished, 2014
On December 19, 2014 the GTK High School Program finished. This training started in October for the second time in a row. By teaching business planning, its purpose is creating opportunities for the acquisition of practical business knowledge, which complements the theoretical economics and business studies education students receive at school. The students were able to attend 4 trainings during the semester to receive support in preparing their own business plan, which they had to present to a professional jury at the end of the program.
The 11th and 12th graders of three schools: Apáczai Csere János High School, Báthory István High School and János Zsigmond Unitarian College joined the program. An overall of 31 students in 9 groups presented their work. They received training in the following topics: business attitude, entrepreneurship, business idea, industry analysis, strategic planning and human resource management, marketing and techniques of finance and presentation.
The students came up with various business ideas: amusement park, events organizer firm, creative education center, cereals processing industry company, sweet-shop, handmade jewelry and fitness center for women. The presentations were evaluated by a professional jury which decided the final score:
