I. place at the 12th Tímár László Case Study Competition

On 16-18 February 2013 the Pannon University of Veszprém organized the 12th Tímár László Case Study Competition. Similar to last year,foreign universities were also invited. Non-local teams had to present their solutions via videoconference. Cluj-Napoca was represented by the team Prometheus, composed of four BCC members, who won the first placeshared with the team of the University of Miskolc.

The case study was distributed online to the participants on the 16th of February. The teams had 10 hours to prepare their solutions in the form of a PowerPoint presentation and a managerial report. The presentation took place on the 18th of February. The invited teams had their own group, and were competing against each other. The case consisted of planning the introduction of a CRM system for a multionational insurance company taking into account the firm’s financial and human resource capabilities.

The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of the Babeș-Bolyai University of Cluj-Napoca was represented by the Prometheus team, consisting of BCC members Ábrahám Krisztina, Benkő Zsolt, Demeter Zselyke and Rákóczi Roland. The team won the first placeshared with the team of the University of Miskolc.
