Team GTK wins the 2018 international case competition of the University of Pécs

Between October 13-15, 2018 the Faculty of Economics of the University of Pécs (Hungary), in cooperation with the Janus Pannonius Student College, organized the 11th edition of the “Dr. Papp László” Accounting Case Study Competition. 12 teams have taken part in this competition representing different universities. The GTK – Business Consulting Club was represented this year by team Enigma (Costiniuc Norbert, Griz Gerda Zsuzsanna, Pádár Zsuzsanna, Szász Karina).

The competing teams had the task to develop a complex investment and expansion strategy for Biomark 2000 Nonprofit Kft, a waste management company. After the preliminary round, the GTK team has been selected to participate in the final round of the competition.

Team Enigma achieved an outstanding result in the final as well, winning the competition and returning the winner’s cup of the competition to Cluj-Napoca after six years.
