Qualification to the semi-final of the Wizz Youth Challenge 2019 intenational case study competition

Between the 2th and 15th September, 2019, Wizz Air, Europe’s one of the most important low-cost airline organized the pre-qualifying round of the Wizz Youth Challenge 2019 international case study competition.

1214 students from 44 countries applied to the pre-qualifying round, their task was to answer how WIZZ can evolve its sustainability strategy over the next ten years to support the growth of its operations in the most responsible way.

After the evaluation, the UBB, Faculty of Economics and Business Administration and the Business Consulting Club – GTK will be represented in the semi-final by the team Jetlag Consulting, formed by: Costiniuc Norbert-Dániel (Business management master program, I. year), Pál Tamás (Business management master program, I. year), Szász Zalán (Management undergraduate program, III. year, non-GTK member) and Vojkuj Csongor (Corporate financial management, master program, I. year).

In total 24 teams qualified in the semi-final, which will be organized between the 14th and 15th October, in Budapest, Hungary.
