Excel training

On 26 November 2022, the GTK students participated in an advanced Excel training, held by a GTK alumni member, Kristály Csaba.

The first half of the event was dedicated to the first-year members, where in 3 hours they went through the basics of Excel, talked about its logic, how to use it effectively, went through the use of Pivot tables, dashboards and a lot of useful functions that are essential in the corporate life. They have mastered these in theory and in practice.

At the second half of the training, the second-year students joined in, when they moved to a higher level and learned how to use more specific methods, such as creating dynamic tables with functions, using maps in Excel, automation and forecasting.

The use of Excel was not new to most of the students, but they have acquired the skills to do the most accurate, quick and efficient work. The training was intensive, because during the six hours they solved common problems, learned new techniques and benefited from the experience and knowledge of the lecturer.
