A Closer Look at Perla Harghitei: Our Students’ Visit

On June 29, 2026, the winning team of this year’s KEEV (Cluj-Napoca Case Study Competition for University Students), consisting of Burkhardt Balázs, Izsák Adél, Ladó Viktória, and Lázár Benedek, had the opportunity to visit Perla Harghitei’s headquarters in Sâncrăieni, where they presented their award-winning solution to the company’s management.

The visit began with the team’s project presentation, followed by an in-depth question-and-answer session. During the discussion, the students received valuable professional feedback on their proposed solution, insights, and calculations. This was followed by an open exchange of ideas with the company’s representatives, during which participants discussed potential strategic directions for the company’s future development.

In the second part of the day, the team toured the production facility under the guidance of Szabó István, Supply Chain Director at Perla Harghitei. The students gained first-hand insight into the production process, the technologies used, the bottling and labeling lines, and the complete journey of the mineral water – from spring water storage to the finished product. The visit provided them with valuable knowledge and a deeper understanding of both the company’s operations and the mineral water industry.
