A third place and a participation in the semi-final at the Wizz Youth Challenge 2019 international case study competition
Between the 14th and 15th October, 2019, Wizz Air, one of the most important low-cost airline in Europe organized the semi-final of the Wizz Youth Challenge 2019 international case study competition in Budapest, Hungary.
24 teams qualified to the semi-final from 1214 applicants, their task was to present the ideas developed in the pre-qualifying round. The topic of the competition was the following: how WIZZ can evolve its sustainability strategy over the next ten years to support the growth of its operations in the most responsible way. The teams were divided in 4 groups, each group was composed by 6 teams. One team from each group had the possibility to present their ideas in the final.
Costiniuc Norbert-Dániel (Business management master program, I. year, GTK member), Pál Tamás (Business management master program, I. year, GTK member), Szász Zalán (Management undergraduate program, III. year) and Vojkuj Csongor (Corporate financial management, master program, I. year, GTK member) qualified to the semi-final, Pádár Zsuzsánna (Business management master program, I. year, GTK member) and her team reached the 3rd place.
