Accenture presentation – Henning Radermacher

On 16 May, the GTK members had the opportunity to attend another presentation provided by our professional partner, Accenture. This time the speaker was Henning Radermacher, Accenture’s principal director in Switzerland.

The online presentation lasted an hour, during which the speaker covered a range of topics: the growing demand for public transport as well as the impact of COVID-19 on the transport sector. In addition, Henning explained the role of the shift from road to rail transportation in creating a net-zero society. Digitalization was also discussed, which is also an important topic for the rail industry, as sustainability and increasing infrastructure capacity cannot be achieved without it. Students learned about changing customer, technology and digital trends that are pushing the future of public transport in a new, personalised and collaborative direction.
