Agrarian Strategy starting with September

By the end of the academic year 2009/2010, as a result of the BCC’s hard work, and Miklós  Kerezsi’s, Lehel Györfy’s and Levente Szász’ diligent coordination, the “Romanian Agrarian Strategy” project had taken on a presentable form, which could now be shown to experts in the domain. In September, work on the project had been resumed with the purpose of incorporating the perspectives and insights that have come to surface during last semester’s presentations and debates.

The major issues to be approached during the September re-evaluation:

• Detailing and quantification of the growth possibilities identified in Romania’s agriculture and food-industry
• Harmonisation of potential growth-possibilities and regional development targets
• Specification of strategic suggestions and conclusions drawn for each industrial branch
• Unification of particular industry-analyses, data verification
