Andrea Telegdi – Economic diplomacy in practice

On the 20th of may, 2020, Andrea Telegdi, Economic Attaché of Hungary in Cluj Napoca held a presentation for the member students of GTK, after which she answered and discussed the students’ questions. First of all,  the Economic Attaché presented the theoretical aspect of diplomacy, but also its’ more practical and realistic side, mentioning her own experiences. Furthermore, students could learn about Hungary’s foreign trade connections and their history. Moreover, they discussed Romania’s and Hungary’s trade connections, revealing the major hungarian companies that can showcase a powerful presence, or partner with firms in Romania. Hungary’s projects that aim to help foreign regions were also listed. At last, the audience discovered the general duties and roles of foreign trade attachés.
